News Round-Up

Alvechurch midfielder Sam Beasley has returned to former club Lye Town after just one game for the club. He played in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Westfields but has opted to switch back. Salisbury have announced they are to apply for promotion from Step 5 after securing a lease on their ground for next season. The Whites beat St Austell to progress in the FA Vase yesterday.

Northampton Town's staff have used the club's official Facebook page (link) to put another plea to owner David Cardoza to sell the club: 'Sell the club and do it now. No more waiting to see where we are on Monday, no more meetings, no more delays, no more talks.' With the Supporters Trust fundraising page due to close at midnight tonight, it has raised just under £42,000 of the £100,000 target.

Telford held an emergency fans meeting to discuss their proposed share sale recommendation. Around 50 supporters attended the event after concerns that the vote proposed would guarantee the deal would happen. The club assured supporters that it would only give them a mandate to explore the option after Thursday's vote, with a spokesman admitting they were facing 'a certain amount of apathy' at the club.

Walsall Wood have lost the services of forward Joey Butlin after he opted for a move to Barwell just a day after scoring in their 4-1 FA Vase win over Holbeach United.
