Lonsdale Not Certain Money Will Be There Monday

In a lengthy grilling from Trevor Owens, club majority owner Andy Lonsdale stated that he was not certain that the money he had promised the Court would be available for Monday's hearing.

Lonsdale told Owens that he had asked for a 15 working day adjournment as the guarantee letter stated that as the timeframe to get the money from his sources.

Asked if the 'buck will stop with you now' Lonsdale replied "Unfortunately, yes.". Owens then asked if the million pound investment coming in was Lonsdale's money: "Yes, it's my money"

Lonsdale also noted that Alan McCarthy disposed of his shares as he 'was't prepared to do' the Owners and Directors Test - despite having previously told people that the paperwork for the test was submitted shortly after the FA charge was announced.

Lonsdale confirmed his claim that the FA suspension was only down to a delay in paperwork - an 'administrative error' - and that the suspension would be lifted 'if not today then definitely tomorrow morning'.

Lonsdale however disputed that the share transfer was completed on December 4th - the date given in the Alpha Choice Finance statement given this morning - saying that the transfer had only been done 'in the last couple of days'.
