Lack Of Officials Causes Dunstable Delay

Hereford United drew their Southern League Premier match with Dunstable Town 1-1, after a 40 minute delay due to a lack of officials.

The FA underlined their ability by apparently re-assigning officials away from the game in the wake of the FA suspension, leaving only one of the team of three officials to turn up for the game by the scheduled kick-off. New officials were found and the match finally began at 3.40pm.

Loanee Dan Sullivan scored the opener, with the attendance recorded as 167.

Elsewhere in the Southern League, Bideford's lights failed for the second time this season to see their home game with Cambridge City abandoned.
