HUST Being Contacted By Creditors

After interviews with Jesse Norman and Andy Lonsdale, Trevor Owens turned next to HUST Vice Chairman Martin Watson.

Owens asked Watson about the suspension: "It's simple that the FA just weren't happy with that they were given. If it is a delay in paperwork then that can be easily rectified but the FA have been pretty shoddy in their handling of the whole situation."

Asked about Lonsdale being the main man, Watson added: "He's stated quite clearly it's down to him. There's no-one in the background so if they get to Monday and the money isn't there then he's got to have a very good reason for that happening."

"There are more creditors contacting HUST by the day because they haven't been able to contact the club. We spoke to the company that produced the calendars last Christmas, they're owed £700 a little family owned company. They haven't been able to get hold of the club for months and we've advised them the same as we've advised everybody else."

Owens then asks if the club meets the criteria of the HUST boycott was Watson happy to talk to Lonsdale: "We've invited him to our meeting on the 18th, he's accepted the invite. Providing he's ticked all the boxes regarding the boycott then he'll be more than welcome to attend, explain his plans for the future, answer questions from our members.

"If he meets the terms, the boycott gets lifted and then it'll be up to the individual fans."

Owens then went back to Andy Lonsdale, who confirmed he would attend the meeting.
