A Win But Another Record Low Attendance

With Andy Lonsdale telling people last week he would 'leave it to the people of Hereford to draw their own conclusions on what has gone on', Hereford United drew another record low attendance tonight.

Tonight's 4-0 win over Dorchester was watched by just 239, surpassing the previous low of 254 that watched against Corby a month ago, and was recounted from the earlier announced figure of 215 with a number of late attendees. Serge Mor Diop netted twice, either side of a Bilal Yafai strike, with Dorchester having a penalty saved.

Loanee Dan Sullivan finished the game late on, moving Jon Taylor's side up to 11th in the table with every other team in the division have games in hand. Fifth placed Weymouth have the most, with seven matches in hand as well as being six points better off.

Starting XI: Williams, Roberts, Cutajar, Hawker, Gascoigne, Gordon, Vetier, Bobes-Gilroy, Mor Diop, Yafai, Onyeike.

Subs:  Sullivan, Ciani, Kone, O’Neill, Mahony.
