Staff Await Payment News

With promises having been made to pay staff two months wages on September 29th, tomorrow, former staff continue to confirm they are owed sums.

Former stadium maintenance man Paul Harris has confirmed he is owed £1800 - outstanding since he left in June. Sarah Tranter, who had been cooking for the players through the summer, says she is owed four months pay.

The news comes in addition to the £2,500 owed to former receptionist Chelsea Corner, while several of last season's youth side are still owed sums with some not having received a penny for over six months. Other former staff are also owed four figure sums, while their P45's still have not been issued.

It is understood that as many as 100 current and former staff are still owed money by the club and that the Southern League have refuted claims that they still hold money on behalf of the club when approached by former staff over the past few weeks.

One current player, who declined to be named, told a source close to Bulls News that the players were relying on relatives to pay basic bills while they waited for payment. Some of the players, who are all publicly classed as full time footballers, are on less than £100 a week.

Neither Tommy Agombar nor son Harry were at yesterday's game, while Directors John Edwards and Elke Thuerlings were also again absent - claimed again to be away on business.

Current staff have been told that a new investor is incoming and will meet pay demands - however there was no sign of such an investor at yesterday's game and staff remain in the dark as to whether they will be paid or not.
