Next Game: Banbury Away On Friday March 29th Kick-Off 3.00pm

Attendance down 82% in 12 months

With the ongoing saga at Edgar Street, the crowd fell for the third game in a row today. Only 339 spectators turned up to witness Jon Taylor's men grab all 3 points after beating Biggleswade Town 2-1.

Just over a year ago Hereford lost 2-0 to Aldershot at a very wet Edgar Street. A healthy 1,851 went through the turnstiles for the Friday night fixture. The result left the Bulls 12th in the Skrill Premier table, but just over 12 months later they lie 14th in the Southern League; 3 of the sides below have games in hand and, dependent on the two fixtures on Tuesday night, they could be down to 16th.

Along with 6 changes in the squad from the previous game, there was a different physio to usual in the dugout. Tommy Agombar was seen alongside Stuart Blake, but Chairman Andy Lonsdale was not spotted at today's game. Directors John Edwards and Elke Thuerlings were also missing from the stands, despite reportedly expected to be in attendance this afternoon having returned from China. Former director Bob Pritchard watched the game.

In any case, the falling attendances, rumours of staff and players not being paid since June and the teams inconsistent form of late, does leave supporters wondering what the next twist in the tale will be. Meanwhile, since the club’s PR officer Laura Phelps left the club, the official site has been dormant for 10 days and the only tweets since the the Bulls crashed out the FA Cup have been to dismiss rumours of today’s game being postponed.
