Johnson expects Entertaining Friendly at Hereford

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson is expecting an entertaining friendly at Hereford on Saturday.

"It's a good game to start with and it will be competitive, I would think, because Hereford will be trying to get together their new group under their new manager," he said.

"I like these sorts of games early because it gives you something to work hard for during the week."

Meanwhile, as reported earlier by BN, former Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman is helping out at Monmouth.

Their spokesperson, Barry Burns, told the Hereford Times that Pitman had approached the club.

"Jamie rang me and asked whether he could do some coaching at the club," said Burns.

"We're delighted to have someone with such experience."
