Lincoln have announced that they have agreed a two year deal with Torquay winger Mustafa Carayol, and they are now negotiating a fee for the out of contract 20 year old. Further to yesterday's news, Torquay have confirmed that they will be paying Colin Lee until next May after he signed a contract extension last October. Lincoln are expected to beat Bury to the signature of ex-Port Vale keeper Joe Anyon. Histon have confirmed that Alan Lewer has left the club after he refused to apply for the job he held.

Gillingham managerial target Andy Hessenthaler has quit Dover after talks with their chairman. He is expected to be installed at the Priestfield in the next few days. Southend are the latest side to ditch their reserve team, pulling out of the Combination league they came bottom of last term. They deny the move is for financial reasons. Lincoln have released striker Lennel John-Lewis by mutual consent after agreeing a termination to his contract.
