Hereford United chairman Graham Turner has the told the OS that he decided five or six weeks ago that he would like to sell his shareholding in the club.
"I don't want to comment too deeply about it yet.
"In the case of Joan Fennessy she has worked 34 years here. Perhaps it is time she wants to have a bit of leisure.
"From my point of view, five or six weeks ago it started creeping into my mind that it was time to go.
"There have been one or two enquiries, nothing more than that."
