All we want to do is win says Trewick

Hereford United coach John Trewick is aware that given results elsewhere the Bulls could top League Two tomorrow tea-time but he has told the Worcester News they must not get carried away with the possibility of promotion.

"We have just put a little run together where we have picked up four consecutive wins, which is pleasing. We have scored a number of goals and hopefully we can continue that.

"Regardless of who is top tomorrow all we want to do is win our match.

"We are not looking at the promotion issue. We can see the league and we understand where we are but we also know what we have done to achieve that. We are looking at the short-term.

"We have broken the season down into six-match mini leagues and we have tried to achieve our points target within that period. So far this season we have achieved that and that's all we are doing at the moment and not looking beyond that goal.

"It's very much centred on what's happening now.

"We need to go there (Shrewsbury) and make sure we continue our progress and keep them where they are.

"But it will be a diffiuclt match, they are a decent side and will be going out for the win.

"As far as we are concerned it's another game that we can get three points out of."
