Willo creates only Bristol goal - Jeannin "comfortable on the ball"

Bristol Rovers played Oxford this afternoon in a "behind closed doors" friendly at Bisham Abbey. The game was played over three periods with Williams featuring in the first period and being credited with playing in Lewis Haldene to score. Willo played in his favoured central striking role and is said to have showed good control. Oxford equalised in the third period through a Rob Duffy penalty. It has been noted that Ryan Green was missing from the Bristol party.

For Oxford, Alex Jeannin is said to have been "to the fore" and looked comfortable on the ball at left back. There was no mention of Simon Travis who is reported to be on trial with Jim Smith's outfit. Meanwhile, the Official Oxford website is currently showing a large photo of AJ at Leicester brandishing a "We're going up" flag!
