Hereford United defeated Notts County 2-1 this afternoon at Edgar Street. Goals from new signing Guy Ipoua and Ryan Green sealed the deserved victory.
Graham Turner gave a start to both Andy Ferrell and Stacy Coldicott. Their contribution was very noticable.
There were subs during the second half and for a spell Notts County came back into the game and having scored once looked as though they should have drawn level. But Hereford were equal to everything thrown at them and towards the end of the game might have gone further ahead when Danny Carey-Bertram was unlucky not to score.
Turner should be the happier of the two managers. Taking into account that Notts County have been back training for a week longer than the Bulls, his side is taking shape. However Ipoua will need a few more days in the gym!
