Turner happy with performance

Graham Turner told Trevor Owens of BBC Hereford and Worcester that he was happy with his sides' performance last night in the Trophy tie.

"I thought it was a good performance. What impressed me about it was the enthusiasm for the job, the amount of work we put into winning the game. It was a good night's work.

"We had a bit of a break when they had the lad sent off, but we were in command before that. There were some good individual performances, but most importantly, collectively we looked a side again."

Talking about the sending off, Turner said the referee was close to the challenge.

"I always thought he was going to send him off. I sometimes think it's very harsh but those are the rules now and we've had our share of it.

"There can't be too many complaints from them about the sending off."

Turner was pleased that Stansfield opened the scoring.

"He's worked hard up-front without getting the rewards over recent matches and it was nice to see one go in."

The 4-0 victory is the largest margin that the Bulls have won by at home since the 7-1 defeat of Halifax in November 2003.
